This privacy policy applies to the website of BiSS Association e.V. (https://biss-interface.com/). It explains which personal data is collected and how it is processed when you use our website. The processing of data on our website serves exclusively to present our association. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), and the Digital Services Act (DDG).

3. Web Hosting

Our website is hosted by ALL-INKL (ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany). A data processing agreement is in place. Server log files are kept for up to 7 days and then deleted or anonymized.

 

4. Cookies and Consent Management

We use cookies to ensure the technical functionality of the website. Essential cookies are set based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. All other cookies (e.g. for statistics or marketing) are only set after you have given your explicit consent via our cookie banner (Complianz Privacy Suite).   • WordPress (CMS): Basic content management.

  • ALL-INKL (Hosting): See above.

  • Ally – Accessibility & Usability: Improves accessibility; does not store personal data.

  • Complianz Privacy Suite: Cookie and consent management. Only your choices are stored.

  • Converter for Media: Converts images to WebP format for faster loading. Does not process personal data.

  • Easy Updates Manager: Handles updates; does not process personal data of visitors.

  • Elementor & Elementor Pro: Page builder; does not process personal data of visitors.

  • Really Simple Security: Security plugin. Stores IP addresses and technical log data for attack prevention and site security, based on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

  • Site Kit by Google: Integrates Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Google Analytics is only activated after your explicit consent. It records pseudonymized usage data (shortened IP address, usage behavior, device data). Data transfer to the USA is based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses. IP anonymization is enabled.

  • WP Rocket: Website caching and performance optimization. Only necessary technical cookies are set.

  • Yoast Duplicate Post: For managing and duplicating posts. No personal data of visitors is stored.

6. Social Media Embeds and Links

We maintain online presences on the following platforms and may embed or link to them:

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

We take technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, manipulation, unauthorized access, or publication. Data is transmitted in encrypted form (SSL/TLS).
