SmartSCALE, a magnetic scale boasting the industry’s top resolution of 5 nanometers. Here all three elements of magnetic scales are honed to perfection-detection sensitivity, magnetic output, and signal processing functionality-in scales.

Technologically they’re a quantum leap that offers much higher resolution, among other advantages. How did we improve both durability and resolution? As specific advances that greatly improved resolution, we increased sensitivity tenfold by incorporating Tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR) elements in magnetic signal detection, achieved a 30% higher magnetic output from the scale, and carefully corrected distortion in magnetic signals.
